About

I'm a software architect and consultant in Chicago. Most of my work is .NET and Azure end to end — Clean Architecture and CQRS on the backend, SvelteKit on the front, SQL Server underneath, and the identity, configuration, and edge layers that hold it together.

I lead engineering and architecture on a healthcare platform and an Epic-integrated clinical application, and take on independent consulting work alongside that. The pattern across all of it is the same: I get brought in when something is slow, insecure, broken in production, or architecturally stuck, and I fix it at the root rather than patching the symptom.

I studied computer engineering at Purdue. The coursework skewed systems and hardware — digital design, ASIC lab, microprocessor systems — which is probably why I'd rather read the execution plan than guess at it.
